The Walk for Epilepsy – Huntsville is a free, family-friendly community event hosted by the Epilepsy Foundation Alabama that brings together families, friends, and supporters to raise awareness and funds for people living with epilepsy and seizures. It’s all about walking side by side, celebrating strength and connection, and showing purple pride while supporting those affected by epilepsy in North Alabama.

Walkers will enjoy fun activities, music, refreshments, and plenty of community spirit as they take steps together to support epilepsy awareness. Whether you walk in person or join virtually, every step and every donation brings us closer to a future where no one faces epilepsy alone.

Each August, the Emily Yish Remembrance Foundation hosts the Annual Emily Yish Memorial Golf Outing to honor Emily’s memory and continue her legacy of compassion and community impact. This charitable event unites supporters, sponsors, and friends for a day of golf and giving, with all proceeds benefiting the Foundation’s scholarship fund for Oxford High School seniors and contributions to epilepsy awareness and research. Through this event, we celebrate Emily’s enduring spirit while advancing the causes that reflect her kindness, generosity, and love for others.
